Project Plaza is a web-based process management tool developed from our experience providing software systems to the Construction sector.
 

Each project has an associated Microsoft Exchange mailbox. The project manager uses this to deal with all project email and to manage key documents.

Contact details for all the people involved in a project are automatically entered in the Project Directory including internal staff, clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers.

Project set up starts at pre-contract stage. A handover page ensures that all the information is passed on to the site team once the project is won and becomes live. A project closure process captures completion information and the project is retained for future reference.

Instructions such as Requests for Information, Verbal Instructions, Architect Instructions and Site Instructions are all maintained centrally. And can be issued to any of the project stakeholders.

The Document Register is the central repository for all project documentation including specifications, technical submittals, drawings and contracts.

Each document is version controlled, with full history and audit trail; documents can be issued to designated groups of recipients both inside and outside the company.

Project managers can see whether extranet users have accessed documents and instructions issued to them, helping to ensure that all project stakeholders work from the same versions of documents and drawings and those instructions are responded to in a timely manner.

A project’s Carbon Footprint can be calculated by recording deliveries, transport, materials and energy usage.

Health and safety, risk assessment and reporting are made simple. The site diary is used to track progress.

Standard forms and templates can be uploaded and easily accessed, helping to reduce the time taken to create reports.

Project Plaza is installed on-premise in your own data centre and customised for your environment and specific business processes. 

Project Plaza is a web based application written using standard Microsoft technologies (ASP.NET, web services etc.)  It runs on Microsoft Windows servers and utilises a SQL Server.
